many purposes... frequently which are games. It wraps well into C and can be
executed as a simple script or in compiled code, making it ideal for custom and
non custom apps alike.

The PHP Bulletin Board is a powerful and scalable open
source package. It is fairly user friendly, and is used to make web forums for
web sites. It goes without saying, but the forum on this site is built off
phpBB, and features several custom templates to cater to the needs of any forum
member.

http://www.libsdl.org Simple Direct media Layer is a very neat
API that has been paramount to the construction of this game. It is a lgpl
licensed package that simplifies low level programing across nearly any
platform.

http://wesnoth.org/ A well developed and fully playable TBS RPG. This game,
like Prescion, has been developed using SDL,
and therefore is available on many platforms. The current release is fully
playable, and it's surprisingly addictive.
