Story
The Story of Prescion takes places on a world not too different from Earth,
only somewhat in the future. Many smaller nations have banned together or been
annexed by growing empires of ideology, and now the larger nations vie for
control. The largest and most powerful of these nations are Runaria, and
Agregorn. It is in Runaria, that the story begins, centered around a main
character of the player's choosing, and a handful of other agents within the
elite Runarian Special Forces.

Factions
Agregorn Elite Fighters The AEF have a single mission: protect and
enact the will of Agregorn across the world. They seek to be the first and last
line of defense against invasion and are proud of their technological supremacy
on a global level.
Children of Silver Sands The Children of Silver Sand are a
collection of freedom fighters that often resort to terrorism to get their views
across. Their origin dates back to the proxy wars between Golganthor and
Zagostan, where Golganthor forces used nuclear bombs to subdue civilian towns.
The few survivors banned together on the cooked glass, and vowed for eternal
revenge for the injustice they endured. They seek nothing more than the
destruction of the Golganthor Syndicates, especially Setheca. They are mostly
located in Zagostan, though they have some cells in Runaria as well.
Gaians Gaians are eco-terrorists that believe the corporations of
every nation are contributing to the destruction of Earth, and feel justified in
using any force to stop said corporations. Most of their attacks are on
factories, power plants, and industrial complexes. However, they will sometimes
resort to kidnapping and assassination of key people to help bring down
companies and nations if they have to. Gaians are found all over Earth, though
they are concentrated in Runaria and especially in Agregorn.
Gauntlet of Fire The gauntlet of fire seeks power to rule the world
based on their fanatical belief in Noke, the God of Darkness. They believe that
Umbrals are supreme beings brought from another plane of existence, and through
them the rite of the Gauntlet shall be made clear when the faction has control
over the world. They are based largely in Runaria and Golganthor.
Golganthor Mercantile Cartel The GMC is the leading governing body
of Golganthor, which is a government based on a cooperative between plantations
and trade companies. The GMC is similar to the League of Corporate Owners, in
that it derives legislative power from comercial ownership. However, membership
is not granted by virtue of owning a business and being elected as a
representative of the business. Rather, members are allowed admittance only by
existing members, assuming they meet the qualifications of belonging to the
aristocracy as well as the allowance of the member's family. The Syndicate
holds the most seats in the GMC, and holds the most power by virtue of having
the highest economical status.
League of Corporate Owners The league is a collection of CEO and
other company presidents and directors who band together to vote on who is the
present leader of Agregorn. Though not always discussed, this group holds
absolute power over everyone in Agregorn, but given that all members are elected
by the various boards on their respective company and all company heads get
equal vote, it is not possible for a single individual or the league itself to
assert absolute power. The League is entirely within Agregorn.
Order of the Blade The most holy Order of the Blade believes in
humility and the teachings of their Messiah, Dormin. They are fond of the
nation of Runaria, though claim independence. The sacred city of Ester trains
the devout to become scholars, monks, and paladins of their order. Those that
leave the order do so as a service to their order, to work as trade and help
protect Runaria (never attacking the enemy outside Runaria's border).
The Organization The Organization is a (not so) secret resistance
group within Golganthor that seeks to overthrow the oppressive merchant leagues
and abolish slavery world wide. Though they seldom resort to terrorism, they
are frequent causes of sabotage and have caused several corporations to fall
due to the timing of their mischief. As such, many Golganthor and even some
Agregorn companies see them as a serious threat that must be stopped at all
costs.
Runarian Special Forces The RSF is a specialized organization within
the Runarian Army. These agents serve as covert operatives and commandos.
Unlike normal special forces units, citizens can recruit directly into the RSF,
assuming they can pass the rigorous tests placed on every individual that
joins. Each civilian that enters the RSF enters as one of eight specific
classes, though the vast majority are soldier class. The majority of the RSF
are based in Stronghold, a military town in southwestern Runaria. Here, they
are primarily led by Commander Xoh.
Sethecan Syndicate The Syndicate (as it is commonly called) is the
largest and most powerful corporation in Golganthor. They own Sigma Prime as
well as most of the slave trade companies. They care for little more than
profit, and will only contract out when a sure thing can be obtained. They
provide for the bulk of Golganthor's defenses, and are feared and respected by
all other corporations in Golganthor (though very unpopular across the
world).
The Umbral The Umbral are not so much an organization as they are a
race. They are basically versions of many life forms on Earth from dogs to
Urdar to Humans. The key difference between Umbrals and other life forms lie in
their vicious tenancies, unnatural strength, and regenerative strength. Many
Umbrals exist in human society, posing as people. As to why Umbrals seek to
join in human society or why they exist at all... remains a mystery. Islemast
will proudly admit that he is Umbral, if you survive meeting him.
